STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- The Kutztown University women's golf team wrapped up its 2024-25 regular season with a second-place finish in the ESU Spring Invitational at Glen Brook Golf Club on Saturday.
Brooke Graham (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) and
Rhi Stutz (Prescott, Wisc./Prescott) led the way for the Maroon and Gold, each shooting 10-over par 82 to finish in a five-way tie for sixth in the individual standings.
The Golden Bears registered their best team score of the spring and second-best of the season with a 339 (+51) as they look to round into form ahead of next weekend's PSAC Championship at Berkleigh Golf Club.
Grace Klements (Little Egg Harbor Township, N.J./Pinelands Regional) carded an 87 (+15) to secure 18th-place overall and
Alexis Peet (Greentown, Pa./Wallenpaupack) was one shot back in a tie for 19th with an 88 (+16) to complete KU's scoring contingent.
Gabby Cohen's (Jeffersonville, N.Y./Sullivan West) 94 (+22) rounded out Kutztown's lineup, while
Brooke Prindiville (Hawthorn Woods, Ill./Lake Zurich) (90) and
Alivia Miesowitz (Hazleton, Pa./Hazleton) (93) competed as individuals.
Millersville's Charley Kirby won the tournament with a 4-over 76. The Marauders had five players in the top eight to capture the team title with a score of 318, 21 shots ahead of the second-place Golden Bears. Susquehanna was third at 342, followed by Bloomsburg (352) and East Stroudsburg (371).
The 2025 PSAC Championship begins on Friday, April 25, and runs through Sunday, April 27.
