DANVILLE, Pa. -- The Kutztown University women's golf team put three players among the top 13 finishers to secure a fourth-place team finish in Thursday's Bloomsburg Husky Invitational at The Golf Club at Frosty Valley Resort.
Brooke Graham (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) kept her stellar season rolling with another top three finish --her sixth in eight tournaments this season. The sophomore from Carlisle, Pa., has yet to place outside the top five individually in 2024-25. Graham carded two birdies on the back nine, one on No. 11, a par 5, and another at No. 14, a par 4. She also totaled a team-high nine pars on the day to shoot 7-over 80 for the round. The score put Graham five shots off the lead and in a third-place tie with Alvernia's Katie Lapinsky.
Gabby Cohen (Jeffersonville, N.Y./Sullivan West) and
Alexis Peet (Greentown, Pa./Wallenpaupack) each recorded rounds of 90, tying them for 13th-place with one other golfer. Cohen birdied the par 5 18th and had seven pars, while Peet also biridied 18 to go along with three pars.
Kutztown's final scoring effort came from
Grace Klements (Little Egg Harbor Township, N.J./Pinelands Regional) who had three pars and a round of 100 (+27).
Rhi Stutz (Prescott, Wisc./Prescott) made four pars during her round of 103 to round out head coach
Robert Fisher's lineup.
Senior
Alivia Miesowitz (Hazleton, Pa./Hazleton) was an individual entry for the Maroon and Gold. She shot 100 with three pars on the round.
Ammala Moua of Jefferson won the tournament with a 2-over 75, one stroke ahead of runner-up Charley Kirby from Millersville. Alvernia claimed the team title with a 342 (+50) to hold off Millersville (346, +54), Jefferson (349, +57), Kutztown (360, +68) and Clarion (363, +71).
Kutztown concludes the regular season with a trip to Glen Brook Golf Club on Saturday to compete in the ESU Spring Invitational.
