KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's swim team will travel to the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pa., for the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships, which begin Monday, Feb. 17, and run through Thursday, Feb. 20.
 
The Golden Bears placed 10th at last year's PSAC Championships and will be looking to move back up after three straight ninth-place showings between 2020-23.
 
Freshman Sarah Zeminski (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) will look to qualify for the A Final, Wednesday, when she takes part in the 200-yard butterfly. The West Chester, Pa., native is seeded eighth in the event with a top time of 2:11.84, and is the highest seeded Kutztown swimmer across all events.
 
Annamarie Rodier (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) is a contender for top 10 finishes in four events. The junior is seeded 10th in Monday's 1000 freestyle (10:55.26), 10th in Tuesday's 400 individual medley (4:43.31), 11th in Wednesday's 500 freestyle (5:10.77) and 10th in Thursday's 1,650 freestyle (18:03.47).
 
Tatum Rothermel (Halifax, Pa./Halifax) is seeded 15th in the 200 breaststroke on Thursday (2:28.72) while Kara Damico (Brookhaven, Pa./Sun Valley) comes into the championships with top 20 conference times in Monday's 50 freestyle (20th, 24.33) and Tuesday's 100 butterfly (19th, 59.30)
 
Preliminary qualifying heats will take place each morning with the top 24 times in each individual event (except the 1,650 freestyle) advancing to that evening's finals. The top eight qualifiers will swim in the A Final, while qualifiers 9-16 compete in the B Final and 17-24 in the C Final. Each final pays points towards the team standings.
 
Preliminaries begin at 10 a.m. daily, with finals starting at 6 p.m. each day except Thursday (5 p.m.).
