LANCASTER, Pa. – Three Golden Bear swimmers set qualifying times for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships as the Kutztown University men's swim team concluded competition at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational at the McGinness Pool inside the Kunkel Aquatic Center on Sunday.
Kutztown had a pair of swimmers compete in the final rounds of their respective events, as Matheson Bair (Orwigsburg, Pa./Blue Mountain) and RJ Otten (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) held their standings in the 100 freestyle and 200 butterfly, respectively. Theo Miksa (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) also recorded a conference qualifying performance in Sunday's preliminary period, setting a 2:17.35 time in the 200-yard breaststroke.
The Golden Bears return to the competition in enemy waters as they travel to Arcadia for a non-conference meet on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 1 p.m.
